Our Story
Local owner, Bianca was raised in Northland and like many young kiwis ventured from the safe soils of Aotearoa in search of an overseas experience (OE). Landing in Nice, France - Bianca joined a Superyacht, becoming a stewardess and eventually Chief Stew aboard superyachts for celebrities, tech moguls and billionaires.
Bianca spent over 10 years working in the superyacht industry. From anticipating the needs of discerning guests to creating thoughtful, personalised experiences, Bianca developed a standard of hospitality she now brings to every Ula Stays holiday home.
Why Bianca chose the Tutuakaka Coast
With New Zealand calling and a baby on the way, Ula Stays began on a notepad aboard Air New Zealand.
On landing, Bianca became a resident of The Tutukaka Coast, immersing herself in community whilst raising her son - it became clear, Tutuakaka offered the perfect setting to offer guests high-quality holiday homes and accommodation unlike anything Northland offered.
Today, Ula Stays offers a carefully curated collection of Tutukaka holiday homes and accommodation across the surrounding coastline, including Matapouri, Ngunguru and Bream Bay.
